Hey, I’m Luke. I built CashMapped because most financial advice out there is pretty useless.

Seriously. Most personal finance content is written for people who already have money. It assumes you’ve got a 401k, a financial advisor on call, and a spare $10,000 sitting in savings. That’s not most people. That definitely wasn’t me when I was starting out.

I kept reading articles that were either way too complicated, weirdly preachy, or so basic they were kind of insulting. Nobody was just cutting straight to the answer.

So I built CashMapped. Over 300 free guides on everything from making your first budget to buying your first home. I write every article the way I’d explain it to a friend: no filler, no upsells, no assuming you already know what you’re doing.

If you’re just getting started with money, or starting over, you’re in the right place. Glad you’re here.

📖

What we cover

Budgeting, credit scores, investing basics, side hustles, real estate, and career growth. Everything you need to get your finances on track — in the right order.

🚫

What we don’t do

We don’t sell courses. We don’t push credit cards or investment products. We don’t run ads. Every article exists because it helps you — not because it makes us money.

✍️

How we write

Every guide is written in plain English. No finance degree required. If a 10-year-old couldn’t understand the explanation, we rewrite it until they could.

🎯

Who this is for

People living paycheck to paycheck. College students on financial aid. Anyone who wants a straight answer about how money actually works. If that’s you — welcome.
